Lays well with others

That's Jojo on far right sleeping on his cot.

Clearly he gets along well with others. Our living room is like a dorm cabin at Summer camp. The front left camper in this pic is a sleepover guest. Not visible in the picture are two more foster dogs and two cats. Joe does wonderfully with all of them but he says in his next home he wouldn't mind it if there were less dogs. He also wants to know when you will be putting in your application to adopt him.

SNAKE!

Never fear. Joe is here. I'll get that evil snake.

(Sorry it's blurry. He was too busy squeaking it to hold still.)

He loves playing with stuffed toys.

A really good dog

Jojo continues to do quite well. It has been a week and he has settled in beautifully. The man of the house keeps saying Joe is a really good dog. He is right. Would you like a really good dog? If so, ask to meet this most excellent hound.

Do I hear dinner calling?

Seriously lady...

 It's this way.

 I can taste it already.

Hubba hubba

He is one handsome hunk of hound.

Jojo surveys the neighborhood as the two yutes, Soleil and Sunita, act as hangers on.

Note: Jojo is an average size for a male Greyhound. His diminutive roommates though do tend to make him look larger. Sol and Su won "smallest male" and "smallest female" at Greyfest this year.

What a wonderful boy!

Picked up this fantastic fellow yesterday. Jojo was my first Greyhound foster years ago. He made fostering so easy that we have continued to foster Greys as we have the time. Now life circumstances resulted in Jojo coming back to SEGA through no fault of his own. I am so pleased we could offer to foster him again.

Jojo is proving to be just as wonderful now as he was the first time around. The guy walked in the door and immediately got along with our current dogs and cats. He ignores my horse and goat in the field adjoining the dog yard. Though two of my dogs sound the alarm when they think there is an intruder, Jojo just silently trots to the door to see what is up. This is a no muss, no fuss guy. He likes going outside in the yard. He likes coming back inside to snooze. He has been left loose for up to 4 hours so far without a single problem. He slept through the night last night with no issues.

Not surprisingly he acted a little confused yesterday. He did not eat dinner last night but did eat a bit of breakfast this morning. He eagerly took snacks this afternoon. Tonight he polished off his dinner. He is acting bright eyed and energetic also. The stress is dissipating and he is settling in well.

Whoever adopts this guy is going to have a real lover. Jojo goes off to sleep nicely on a bed but later will come to you for a few scritches and a bit of loving. Then he pads off to the next comfy spot to resume relaxation. He really is the same Jojo I knew before just a few years older now.

Please contact SEGA for a chance to meet this hunk. He may not a young pup but he is a happy, active guy who is young at heart. Jojo promises to give you a lifetime of love every day he is with you.
